Rakuyaki Pottery
Great Pottery, RAkuyaki, I went to watch the Rakuyaki Pottery, Japanese traditional Pottery at the Raku Museum in Kyoto. they have been made from 16th century for over 400 years. The Current Head is 16th generation.The Rakuyaki, Bowl to drink tea ,is used to make tea ceremony. Many rakuyaki bowl were on the display when i visit the museum. 14 Rakuyaki Bowls which were made by 2nd to 15th generation was especially amazing !! Please go to watch the Rkuyaki tyawan (bowl).
寒い一月下旬、京都堀川、中立売りの楽美術館に参りました。そうです楽焼茶碗を見に行ったのです。あまり美術的なもの、陶器もですが、わかることはないのですが、見てみたい一心でした。あまり大きくない美術館ですが、玄関口で初老の白人女性と外国人ぽい日本人がおられ一緒に入りました。入るなり時間がとまりました。ぐいぐいひきつられ陶器からの 圧力と私の凝視が溶け合うすばらしい空間にただよいました。特に圧巻でしたのが、二代目の作品から１５代目の作品が並んで展示されていたのです。絶句です。体のなかが充足感でいっぱいになりました。最高のいい時間でした。知らなかったのですが、わかってる初代は１６世紀半ばからはじまり現在１６代目です。日本の宝です。
是非、京都散策で訪れてください。交通はバスが便利です。近くには西陣織会館もあります。
